Spell: Remembering Our Ancestors

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Lily

Fix an altar with pictures of your most beloved friends and family who have passed away. Light three white candles (one for past, one for present, one for future). Place them in front of the pictures. Study the flames and remember all the love you felt from those who came before you. Say:
My family and my friends who have guided me, I bring you blessings and thanks on this day. Know that in my heart you will never be forgotten. In everyday moments, I feel you close to me, and I am blessed for having had you touch my life.
Now study the pictures one by one, giving each a special thanks. You can at this point place favorite items of your ancestors on the table, such as food or flowers. Blow out the candles, but let the pictures remain for twenty-four hours. Smile each time you pass it.
