Spell: Spell of the Silver Bough

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The apple tree is a powerful symbol of love, abundance, and contentment. This spell can help you become more open to the blessings of life and the beauty of your surroundings.
You will need a branch of apple blossoms, which you can obtain from the woods or a local orchard at this time (or you may use a branch from a craft store if apple trees don't grow in your area). Lay the branch upon your altar and light three votive candles in front of it. As you gaze at the branch, think of all the positive aspects of your life, all that you have: your loved ones, your health, your home, your work, your skills and talents. Visualize these blessings as blossoms on an apple tree. Feel the warm candle flames illuminating your blessed life, and see the branch's blossoms as proof that life's abundance is always renewing itself.
