Spell: Clover Spell for Communication

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

While the four-leaf clover is symbolic of good fortune, no matter how many leaves the clover has, it's useful in magic. Clover, in general, is associated with the god Mercury and the element of air. Since Wednesday is associated with Mercury, the Roman messenger god, today is a perfect day to use this plant in a spell to clear away mixed messages in your communication. Ask for the help of the four winds to clarify your words and expressions and improve your listening skills. Hold the clover and face each direction as you chant:

"East, carry my words.
South, let them be clear.
West, let them be true.
North, may I think first.
East, help me to hear.
South, may I listen with care.
West, help me respond.
North, let me know when to speak."

Keep the clover where you can see it, remembering that listening is a vital part of communication.
