Spell: Hag Stone Charging Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Used traditionally for protection and good fortune and to increase vitality, holey stones, or "hag" stones, have naturally occurring holes through them-often the result of exposure to running water or other natural types of erosion. Since we're near the height of summer, and the moon is waxing, now is a good time to charge this special stone for the purpose of your choice. Choose a place outside where you can keep this stone (even a potted plant will work), and allow it to remain there for a day or two, even several months, exposing it to rain, sunlight, and moonlight-a powerful combination of the earth and water elements. Chant:

"Fortune, healing, and protection,
Secrets guard beyond detection.
Honored place in my collection,
Guide me in the right direction."
