Spell: Moon Magicks

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

It's that time again: the moon is full, filling the sky with glorious light. You're moved to participate- but how? Here are some ideas for using lunar energy.

Are you involved with a coven, grove, or other magickal group? Work with them to develop a ritual (Drawing Down the Moon, for instance) or carry out a solo ritual. Try Writing Down the Moon.

Go "moon bathing." Take a walk under the full moon, soaking in the lunar energies. If the skies are clear, you may even be able to read under the moonlight, and there's no better time to read magickal texts.

Charge your Craft tools by laying them on a silk scarf or altar cloth and allowing them to energize under the full moon. Create charged water by setting out a jar or chalice of pure water overnight. Offer a greeting for the moon:

"Hail to thee, Queen of the Night! May you fill my soul with your clearest light."
