Spell: The Little Ocean

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This spell is for getting more in touch with the water element.

You will need these materials:
* Your bath or shower
* A dark blue or black candle
* A handful of sea salt
* A large bowl of water

Draw a bath. (If you’re using a shower, skip to the next step.) Ground and center. Safely light the candle. Add the handful of salt to the bowl of water and swirl it with your fingers, imagining it like a little ocean. Gently slosh the water from side to side, imagining the great tides of the sea now symbolically reflected in this bowl of salt water. Say:

The ebb and flow,
The rise and fall,
I sail over the starry seas.

Pour the water into the bath or over your head as you step into the shower. Imagine yourself communing with the powers of water, floating in the ocean or out in a rainstorm. When you are done, extinguish the candle and save it for your next magical bath.
