Some people leave their Yule altars up for a while after the holiday, but it can be nice to start the new year fresh. The altar is a good place to start to clear away the energy of the year behind you and open yourself to the possibilities a new year holds. Begin by taking everything off your altar. Clean and dust the altar itself, and anything that will be going back onto it. As you arrange items back on the altar, be mindful of what you want to achieve in the year to come. If you want love, perhaps add a heart-shaped rock or a dried rose. If prosperity is your goal, try placing a shiny dollar coin near a green candle. Move things around until it feels balanced and positive, then say: God and Goddess, please bless |
