The one thing about summer that is most prominent in my mind is that it is hot. Whenever I have the chance to be in front of an air conditioner in the summer, I take it. Why not add a little magic to such an integral part of the summer season?

Most types of air conditioner units have removable filters, and these can be charged with a symbol, such as a pentagram for protection, a heart for love, a clockwise spiral for health, or even a dollar sign for prosperity. Using your index finger or athame, trace your chosen symbol over the air filter, then put it back in the air conditioner. Turn on the unit and the magic will pour into the room along with the refreshingly cool air.
