Read the following verse, and follow the instructions. May it help you if you’re dealing with sorrow or grief. When the geese fly beyond the southern horizon’s bounds, And silver frost kisses the frozen ground, Find a rock and hold it to your aching heart. Tell it your sorrow so your healing may start. Then go to a lonely place where leaves lie sere and dead. Think of the sad words you have just said. Now dig a small earthly grave to contain your grief. Bury the rock, cover it with earth and decaying leaves. Walk away and allow the grave to consume your sorrow. May your heart be filled with hope come tomorrow. |
