Spell: Pet Remembrance Jar

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Few experiences are harder than losing a pet. Cats, dogs, and all the other animals we cohabitate with are most certainly family! This jar spell serves as a way to reconnect with a pet that has passed away.

For this spell you will need a clean wide-mouth jar (like a Mason or jelly jar), a picture of your pet, and things that remind you of your pet. Slip the photo into the jar so you can easily and clearly see the image of your pet. Behind the image place mementos of your pet. This might include their favorite dry treats or toys. You can also write down some cherished memories and add those to the jar. If you have some of your pet’s hair in a brush or other item, add that as well.

Once your jar has been filled, screw on the lid and say your pet’s name out loud and tell them you love them. Place the jar on an altar or other safe space and pick it up every time you miss your pet and need to feel their energy.
