Spell: Cover Your Assets Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Blue
Incense of the day: Sandalwood

They say the Romans had a god for everything. Well, today's New Moon also falls on the festival of Robigus, the Roman god who banishes mildew! You can't make this stuff up! The ancient Romans petitioned Robigus to prevent mildew from ruining crops of grain. Not a problem you have in your modern life? The wheat crops were the wealth of the Roman people and determined their prosperity. A modern equivalent could be a spell to ward and protect your assets. Carve a hole in a dinner roll big enough to fit a votive holder. Carve a dollar sign and an equal-armed cross on a red votive (red is sacred to Robigus). Anoint the candle with patchouli oil. Place the holder in the roll and light it. This arrangement represents your finances connecting to the ancient grain harvest.
Protect the harvest of my assets
Teach me frugality at its best,
Shield my account from overspending,
Safe from scams or foolish lending.
Draw small equal-armed crosses on your checkbook and bankcard to ward them. This spell combined with common sense should protect your assets from draining away, and yes, even from mildew!
