Spell: Leaf Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Turquoise
Incense of the day: Clove

Early in autumn, the leaves begin to turn colors and drift down from the trees. They symbolize the passing of the old to make way for the new and the beauty of change. Although they come from trees, which are grounded in Earth, the falling leaves also represent the element of air as they float free. Find a forest near your home where you can walk among the trees and enjoy the drifting leaves. For best results, go on a breezy day to maximize the leaf activity. As you stroll through clouds of flying leaves, say this blessing:
High and low
Dark and fair
Autumn leaves fill the air
Orange, red
Golden, brown
What goes up must come down
From the trees
To the sky
Blessing me as they fly.
Listen for the leaves to whisper their wisdom to you.
