| If you have a partner or any loved ones serving in the army, navy, or the air force who has been stationed overseas, pray to the Roman goddess Fortuna Redux for her protection and safe guidance home after duty is completed. This ritual can be shared with other military husbands, wives, and adult children.
Before the journey abroad, gather everyone in the altar room. If space is not big enough, perform the ritual outdoors on a night when it is not windy. Have everyone write the names of those who are serving. Draw and consecrate a big circle with everyone and everything they brought inside it. On a makeshift altar, light incense and tealight candles. Call to goddess Fortuna Redux in turns and offer flowers, fruit, sweets, mead, and honey. Spell verses are always more potent when you pen them yourself, so prepare a short verse before attending. |
