As the Sun rises, assemble a small offering of incense, fruit, and red wine. Place it on your altar, or outside on the ground or small table. Light the incense and say: Dea Dia, great goddess, I call on you, and I offer you these gifts! Goddess of earth and sky, of plough and field, of mud and dirt, vibrant light, and upward growth, I call on you! Guide me to release the old so that the new may enter. Help me to prepare the soil of my soul. Assist me in sowing beautiful new conditions in my life! From the deepest depths of my heart, I thank you! |
