Spell: Blessing with Air: Reading the Wind

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Walk in the wind and learn the breezes as they rise and fall: Their directions, their temperatures, their scents. Read the weather changes that follow each breeze.
Listen to the sound the wind makes as it moves through the trees, rustles leaves, or whips flags. Blow dandelion seed tufts or soap bubbles into the air.
Fly a kite or make a paper airplane-either one can be inscribed with runes or infused with spells to carry your magicks into the sky. Lie on your back on the ground and watch the clouds, studying how they form and move and what sorts of weather they portend. Scry the clouds, reading their symbols and patterns. Outside, hang banners and wind chimes and pinwheels. Inside, fill vases with dried flowers and feathers. Wear scarves of gossamer silk that sift and twirl with the breeze. Breathe deeply, feeling the blessings of air surround you!
