| Use this spell to get your spending habits under control. You'll need the Ace of Pentacles, the Emperor, and the Six of Wands from a tarot deck. You'll also need a red and a white candle, plus a smooth piece of obsidian that fits comfortably in your hand. Place the candles on your altar, with the Emperor card between them. The Ace of Pentacles goes to the left, and the Six of Wands to the right. Set the obsidian just below the Emperor card. Draw on the promise of wealth and prosperity promised by the ace card, and see the victory over your spending that's suggested by the Wands. Call upon the will of the Emperor card and the assistance of the universe to help you think before shelling out your hard-earned cash. Afterward, carry the obsidian with you as a reminder of your promise to yourself. |
