| Life is hectic, and it may seem like there is not enough time each morning to accomplish all you need to do before you set off for work or school or jump into your daily activities. Time may not allow for you to light a candle or stick of incense and perform a complex morning ritual or blessing. However, there is one little thing you can do that will bookend your day with self-care: make your bed.
Straighten up your sleeping room. This seemingly small act of housekeeping does wonders. Air and smooth the sheets, place decorative pillows, and open the curtains. Off you go, and what awaits you at the end of the day when you are ready to tumble into that bed? A lovely, soothing, inviting, uncluttered place to rest your body.
