Spell: A Chamomile New Moon Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Happy new moon! As you may know, the new moon is a time for vision and internal work. Additionally, when the moon is "new," it is also conjunct the sun. For this reason, the moon and sun are in the same zodiac sign at every new moon (unlike at the full moon, when the moon is in the sun's opposing sign). Today, Luna and Sol are both in the sign of Capricorn. This is an intelligent and resourceful sign whose energy grants us the ability to get to work!

To utilize this evening's energy, brew some nice chamomile tea. Find a large crystal or a favorite mystical gemstone and plop it into the mug ( just be careful not to swallow the stone!). As the tea steeps, breathe in the vapors and envision the mug glowing with a dark violet hue. Chant the words Capricorn, vision, and insight into the steeping elixir. When you drink the tea, sit in your favorite chair and turn off all the lights. See which visions come to your attention!
