The Hand of Midas is a mythical artifact based on the hand of King Midas. According to Greek mythology, anything Midas touched instantly turned to gold. ( This obviously created some logistical problems.) You can put the Hand to a more practical purpose for spells relating to success and abundance.
Trace your hand on a piece of metallic gold paper. Cut it out and place it on your altar, repeating: "As King Midas turned all to gold, Power of success may this hand hold." You may use the Hand in two ways. One: write a request for success or abundance on a small piece of paper. Tie it scroll-style and set it on the Hand of Midas, repeating: "Hand of Midas, ever blessed, May this charm find quick success.: Leave the scroll in place until the request is realized. Two: use the Hand to "charge" magical items, charms, candles, and the like. |
