Spell: The Reaping (A Modern Opalia, Part 2)

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

We began this spell by planting bean seeds on August 10, and have been tending them since then. In this final installment of our modern Opalia, we gather the energy we have generated over the past two weeks and channel it to further bless our personal goal. For this you will need your potted seedling(s), which by now should have sprouted, and a pitcher of water.

Go to your plant. Ground and center. Focus on the sigil and allow this symbol to be emblazoned in your mind. Contemplate the life force of the plant within the pot and how that life force is “fine-tuned” by the presence of the sigil.

Carefully pull up the sprout from the soil. Rinse it with water, saying:

"Opis, set upon the throne,
Queen of Lions who wears the crown.
Into this plant: your life and will.
Into my life: my goal fulfilled."

Eat the bean sprouts to embody their power. Now empowered, direct your attention toward your goal and make some tangible, real-world effort toward making it a reality.
