Although it's often believed that LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is an exclusively queer celebration, the truth is that the celebratory rainbow also includes loving allies of the cause. You can send global blessings to those who are subject to prejudice simply for being who they are. Buy or print out a Pride flag, ideally the updated version (called the Progress Pride Flag). With a permanent marker, draw two large hearts on the flag, one upright and one inverted. These should be drawn on top of each other in order to create a "double heart." After calling upon LGBTQIA+ ancestors in your own words, conclude by staring at the double heart for a number of minutes, with outstretched hands around the flag. Speak affirmations intended to spread loving protection to all queer folks in need. Raising your arms above you and then to your sides, take deep breaths, and with each exhalation, see this light spreading to encircle the entire globe. Conclude with a big smile, then kiss the flag and leave it in a random public spot for someone to synchronistically find! |
