Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Pink
Incense of the day: Thyme

Druids honor all kinds of trees, but the oak is most important in this religion. A triad of oak, ash, and thorn marks where the fair folk gather. Other sacred trees include birch, rowan, alder, willow, hazel, apple, and elder. Every autumn leaves fall from trees, thus releasing energy held in potential. Stand under a tree now, and wait for a breeze. When the leaves flutter down, catch one before it touches the ground. Hold it and make a wish, visualizing your desire completely. Then toss the leaf into the air. If you can catch the very last leaf to fall from a particular tree, it will hold extra power, like the last sheaf of grain gathered from a field.
