Spell: Here Comes the Sun!

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

February, I think, is the month when the novelty of winter starts to wear thin, and it can be hard to remember that warmer days are on their way. The Sun card of the tarot is a perfect focusing tool to recharge a winter-weary soul.
Hold the Sun card in your hands and gaze at the images: the cheerful child, the golden flowers, the beaming sun. Think or speak this incantation aloud:

"Every day,
Warmer,
Brighter,
Lighter."

Focus and repeat the incantation as many times as you need to hear the laughter of the child, smell the perfume of the flowers, and feel the warmth of the sun. Keep the card (or a copy of the image) in a place where you'll be able to see it. When you're feeling the winter blues, grab some sunshine and repeat the visualization as needed throughout the season.
