Spell: Tea for Imbolc

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

With Imbolc coming in just a few days, I like to use this time to start doing a ritual cleansing of my body and spirit. To do this, I drink herbal teas. Today's herbal tea is made of two ingredients associated with the goddess Brigid: rosemary and dandelion root. Not only are they helpful in detoxifying the body, but they also promote the purification of the spirit.

If you don't grow these herbs normally, a good option is to get these items at your local market. You can get the rosemary in the produce section, and can most likely find dandelion root herbal tea bags. Gather your herbs and let them steep in boiled water for 10 to 15 minutes. While they steep, recite the following chant:
Herbs of Imbolc, blessed tea,
I drink you in for purity.
I call you in this magic hour,
Heal me with your cleansing power.
By sacred water and sacred flame,
Nourish me in Brigid's name.

Slowly drink your tea and feel the healing powers of Brigid and Imbolc come to you. Enjoy!
