Spell: Incense to Ease Communication

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Burn this incense when you are struggling to communicate your thoughts, feelings, or ideas. This can include improving communication with a partner, child, coworker, boss, etc. You can also use this to improve communication with spirits, guides, ancestors, or deities if you can't hear/feel their messages. You will need:

  • A black pen or marker
  • A piece of white paper, 5 inches square
  • A silver bowl or a bowl with a silver item placed inside so that it directly touches the paper (a silver ring, chain, etc.)
  • 1 part dill seed, dried
  • 1 part fennel seed, dried
  • 1 part frankincense resin
  • Mortar and pestle
  • A jar or bag

Using a black pen or marker, write your full name (First, Middle, Last) on each edge of the paper square. Write your name on one edge, turn clockwise, write your name, turn clockwise, etc. Then draw four arrows that each begin in the center of the square and go outward toward each of the four corners. Place the paper in a silver bowl or in a regular bowl with a silver item touching it. Crush and mix the three incense ingredients together (slightly—don't powder), then pour the mixture onto the square in the bowl. Say three times:

My words, the words of the sun.

My words, the words of the wind.

My words, the words of the stars.

Leave overnight, then the next day, package the incense in a jar or bag along with the paper square. When it is burning, close your eyes and visualize a warm white light radiating from your throat.
